My Brothers,

First let me wish each of you and your families the best of the Christmas season and the happiest of New Year!  May the spirit of giving be with you twelve months of the year.  The bringing of the New Year gives us a chance of rebirth.  It is a chance to think about becoming better people and better masons.  This will be one of my resolutions for 2008.

I am humbled and honored to have been asked to lead St. Peter’s Lodge # 21 for the second time.  You are one of the finest groups of men that I have been fortunate to have been a part of.  Our lodge enjoys a great mix of seasoned wisdom and youthful exuberance.  My hope is we continue to work together to help St. Peter’s grow and thrive.

I am especially excited to lead a young and enthusiastic line.  These young men have brought new excitement to our Lodge and ensure we will be strong in the years to come.  They have already brought many great new ideas for activities for the coming year.  If you have not had a chance to meet these young men, please stop by and say hello.

Finally I want to thank all the brothers for the help, hard work and guidance you have provided me already.  I look forward to seeing many of you at our lodge meetings, council meetings and our increasing number of social events in the coming year.
