New Milford Village Fair Days
At the annual Village Fair Days, St. Peter's brothers gathered for a third year to operate a booth on the green. Brothers started 7AM Friday July 29 by setting up the parking lot, bringing the food and refreshments to the booth, while others headed out to purchase last minute items needed. Unfortunately the weather closed the fair down early on Friday but was absolutely beautiful on Saturday when our business picked up.
There were many brothers that showed up to help set up, work the fair either in the booth or in bringing material down from the Lodge when needed and at Saturday night's clean up which took until 11:30PM to complete. Even though the work was hard and involved long days, the brothers managed to share brotherly time together for the good of our Lodge and that's what it's all about....Brotherhood.
Many thanks to those who helped and those that supported the lodge by parking in our lot instead of looking for free parking and for purchasing our food.
